YourDIL SF's (YD SF) location in the Bay Area allows us to draw on the diverse and exciting range of people who live here. From students at the many universities in the area, to young professionals in San Francisco, to our many friends in Silicon Valley, we get volunteers and supporters from all walks of life. With such a strong base, we are excited to continue to grow and help drive enthusiasm about DIL's cause.

YD SF has kicked off 2009 with a bang - in June we held our largest event since our founding in 2007, raising over $35,000 at a concert with the Pakistani band Strings headlining. Hosted at the Spangenberg Theater in Palo Alto, the band gave an electric performance and had the crowd on their feet for three hours. YD San Francisco also hosted the Cherry Blossom Gala in 2008, an evening of guest speakers which raised over $30,000. YD San Francisco has grown tremendously since its inception, and looks forward to building on its strong start in the years to come.
